Which is better for home user or small business?

Libre Office or Open Office?

it depends what are your needs! Since they are free and take a few minutes to download and install, you should try them both and see which one helps you most.

I like 2010 the better, actually 07 is quite good. 2013 Home/Student was actually cheap like $10 if your company or school participated with MS. For awhile my .edu worked great. Not a fan of office 365. Might have to ask my wife as she works for a uni and has .edu email.

Libre Office or Open Office?

LibreOffice is where all the development time is going. Since the fork, OpenOffice has more or less stagnated. Also, due to licensing, LibreOffice can incorporate OpenOffice code, but the reverse isn't true.

I checked the LibreOffice site and it look cool. I'm gonna give this a try, thanks guys for the suggestions.
