Title is self explanatory. I would read reviews and all but i work 50 hours a week and don't have much time for it so ill' just trust the wisdom of my fellow anandtechites

Note that i plan to use it with a E8400

ASUS P5K ATX LGA775 P35 DDR2 2PCI-E16 3PCI 1PCI-E1 SATA2 Sound GBLAN 1394 Motherboard 130$

or

Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L ATX LGA775 P35 1333FSB 1PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 3PCI SATA2 Sound GBLAN Motherboard 100$

or

Gigabyte EP35-DS3R ATX LGA775 P35 1600OC FSB DDR2 1200OC 1PCI-E16 SATA RAID Sound GLAN Motherboard 140$

Also , i don't want to spend more than 140 $ for a MOBO so if you have a recommendation in that price range other than the ones i mentionned then feel free to enlighten me.

Thanks in advance

Yesterday it was $129 after rebate.

I am trying to decide on a motherboard too.

Are you sure you didn't confuse that with the Gigabyte EP35C-DS3R? The EP35 is $114-120 at most stores.

I have a P35-DS3L board in my computer. Running a E8400 processor it runs great and has been for the last 5 months. If you dont care about RAID, and dual video cards it is the mobo for you.

It also overclocks excellent I had a e2160 in it first it ran @ 3.6 with 1.43v at 400x9. It was 13 hour orthos tested.

another vote for DS3L. The only problem is the voltage problem (vCore not sticking after extended poweroff), but someone said that he got a beta BIOS from Gigabyte that fixed this problem already.

I went for the Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L for 92$ CAN. It's cheap , got good reviews/recommendations , has some OC potential and i don't need all the extra of the EP35-DS3R so it was the logical choice for me. This is going to be my first Gigabyte board (always went with Asus in the past and never had any serious issues) so hopefully i won't have any bad experience but i am confident that everything will be OK .

I am pairing it with a pair 2x2GB of Mushkin 5-4-4-4-12 ram as i heard that they are working well together. A E8400 and a 9800GTX will complete the package but it will be short lived since i intend to use the eVga step up program to get a GTX 260 in a few weeks.

Should be a nice improvement over my prehistoric and current (now sold but still mine until my new system arrive) A64 3200 + , 6800GT , 1 gig of ram haha

Nice choice for your needs. I too have this board ( older version in sig )as well as the EP35C and happy with both. Good luck and post some results when you can!
