Hello folks, i have been looking for entry gaming PC for my younger brother so he could have his own. I have found 2 used PCs which are 2-3 years old but performance is not that bad for their age in my opinion. I need help from people with bigger knowledge and experence about gaming computers to choose which one will be better for gaming. Both pcs have the same price. So down below u can see spec. for both of them:

1
Graphics: EVGA GeForce GTX 660Ti 2gb
Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K, Quad core, 3.4ghz, 6mb
Ram: Corsair Vengeance DDR3, 1600mhz, 8gb (2x4gb)
PSU/Strøm: Cooler Master GX Lite 600W
Case: Fractal Design Arc Midi Tower (sort)
Mother board: MSI B75MA-P45
Cd-rom: Samsung DVD Writer, SH-224BB

2
Graphics: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680
Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer INC. M4A89TD
RAM: 8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Thuban 45nm Technology
HDD: 120gb ATA Device (SSD)
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

So i really would like to know which one is the best for value? Which one is build better? Which one is better for performance? Which will last longer (age/quality/performance)?

Sorry for my english

I would not buy either, to be honest, unless you really don't have other options. Option 1 has a B75 board which doesn't really do overclocking, and the system lacks any sort of storage. The PSU is a bit crappy too. Option 2 has a CPU bottleneck, and no PSU, but thankfully has an SSD and a pretty fast video card. In either case, something needs to be changed and added.

Exactly how much do these systems cost? Is it really not in your budget to buy new hardware? What about shopping for used hardware but piecing it together from parts rather than buying a whole used PC?

Sorry for my english

I never get why people with perfectly good English apologize for their English. Especially when bad English is so commonplace that it's not anything to apologize for. It'd be different if this was a French board or something - you know, that's a language whose native speakers are actually fussy about foreigners not speaking it well.

Hello and thanks for your reply, it will cost about 300-350$, and im low on budget. While in US it would be no problem to shop used hardwares and put them together, in Norway where i live shipping will get very expensive if i order from whole europe or even US one by one. Thats why i want to buy in one piece. I pretty sure i could build a new more powerful pc for 350 - 400$ living in US.
It doesnt have any storage memory but i have ssd for 250gb so i could use it. its not that big deal. But this new intel chip is so expensive, almost 300$ only chip from US amazon. Also checked cpuboss.com it does really greait job compared to amd.
I not experenced with Overclocking, but motherboards are quite cheap compared to good cpu or gpu. Couldnt i replace it?
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z87-G55.html#hero-overview this one i could get just for 40$

For just $350 that's a really nice deal.

You certainly could replace the motherboard, and Z87-G55 is up for the job of overclocking the 3570K. However, with just a 660Ti, overclocking doesn't really benefit you - it's when you upgrade the graphics card to something considerably faster that you could use overclocking to ensure you get the most out of that upgrade.

Option 1 for sure.

The gpu can eventually be upgrade w/o changing anything else in the system. Then you can work on overclocking the CPU (if needed of course) to keep up with future gpu(s) you add in
