im gonna reinstall my OS, win98se, or Winme or win2k, win2k is to complicated i cant use it coz im dumb so win98SE and winME is my only two choices, so which, stablity and performance.

i've heard a lot of different stories about ME, some people hate it, but a few people i know like it. i have win98 and it works fine, and windows 98 2nd edition is supposed to be the best for game playing.

only tough part about win2k is the administration part of it and the networking stuff, but its fun and easy if you enjoy that stuff ( ah hem, me )

Yeah the installation portion of 2k is very very easy. it even beats out the pants outta 98 installation you just need a bootable CD. and if you're running a third party controller(by that we mean a controller that doesn't have native driver support, just hit f6 when it says so and get the drivers on a floppy disk. and pop it in when ready

Just do 2K, using it is no harder than making WinME properly usable.

Who told you W2K is too complicated??? Whatever you run up against has been asked here before and will probably be asked again. It'll be a good learning experiance.

Without a shadow of a doubt go with Win98 if you feel you can't handle Win2k

I dispise ME so much.

I love Win2k and I haven't even played my games yet on it.

I am running Windows XP RC1 as my primary OS, I would NEVER install windows 98 or Windows ME on my computer. Before XP I ran Windows 2000 since beta3
