I think it is my Netgear NIC. We got it when we tested DSL locally for Verizon four or five years ago.

The only original part I have from my first computer build is the 3.5" floppy drive. All other components have been replaced at least once. This is only in 3 years of doing computer stuff, too.

I've got an NEC monitor that I bought used for my IBM PS/2 Model 77. I haven't had it thw whole time but the date on the back of it says 1989. I've also got an IBM Model M keyboard from 1992 (same vintage as the PS/2 Model 77). As far as things that get used every day, the sound card in my family's computer is the same ESS 688 card that was in our 80486DX/2-66 in 1994.

well - my dad did and i ended up with the keyboard somehow. he has his own, of a more recent year.
