My 4.3GB 5,400 RPM Western Digital hard drive, 1.44MB floppy drive, Compaq PS/2 keyboard, and RAM from my first homebrew computer that I built ~5 years ago (a 233MHz Cyrix which was promptly upgraded to a 400MHz AMD K6-2 when I found out how slow and how terribly unstable Cyrix processors were/are).

The one thing I would never give up is this keyboard. For some reason, maybe just because it's what I'm used to, I prefer to have an Enter key that takes up a single row, with a decent sized Backslash key above it, and a nice big Backspace key above the \ key. Of course, this is probably just because my first computing experiences were on IBM PS/2 computers with DOS and Windows 3.11, where the \ was critically important, and also because I make a lot of typos and find the larger Backspace key very useful.

I've got a Mitsumi AT switch keyboard (the big, heavy ones that make a lot of noise) from 1995 hooked up to this rig. Still works like the day I bought it, although it is now the color of a chain smoker's teeth.

Up until about 3 weeks ago, I was using an HP Deskjet 660C printer that I bought at the same time as the keyboard, but it has since ceased to function. 2 months ago, my Acer 4X CD-ROM drive (also 1995) called it quits.

The majority of my computer. I didn't get a system of my own (that was worth anything; I had a 166MHz something or other, but I don't use any of those parts anymore) until I came to college. Out of that system, this is what remains of when I originally bought it: monitor, keyboard, speakers, case, floppy, DVD-ROM, sound card, NIC, 128 MB RAM (added a lot since), power supply, processor, motherboard. I guess that's about it. It will be another few years before I start to really collect older hardware that's still in use.

My Altec Lansing ACS45.1's.

They still sound good and I've never had the motivation to upgrade to surround speakers.

There is a possibility it's my floppy drive though. I know it's quite old, just don't know how old though.

On my main rig.

Mouse -- 1992
Keyboard -- Don't know, I use pre-Windows keyboards only, prefer IBM 'clicky' keyboards that I find at yard sales.
Floppy -- Don't know.
Motherboard -- Asus T2P4, bought in December 1996. Been overclocked since then. Now with K6-2 300 @333.

I had a newer rig, but my soon to be ex-wife took it.

14" Monitor from like 4-5 years ago.

It's sad i had two recent monitors that crapped out on me and that old one is still running like a champ.

In terms of stuff I still use, my InWin Q500 case, 3.5" Mitsumi Floppy drive, and 3Com 3C905TX (no a or b, just the original!) are all from the computer I built the summer before my freshman year in college (1997!). But somewhere in my closet in my parent's house I still have all the parts of my various computers dating back to around 1992 or 1993. (Even one of those old 5 1/4" floppy drives and a Colorado Jumbo 250 Tape backup!)

circa 1994 Mitsui IBM style softspring big@$$ keyboard. They definitely don't make em like they used to.
It's survived orange juice from my freshman roommate and three completely overhauled systems.

My Benwin speakers come a close second as they were purchased 6 months afterward... still pretty damn good as part of a 2.1 system.
