Which PCI ethernet card is better?

I have two cards a d-link 530TX+ and a Belkin F5D5000, i wnat the better one to go in the newer computer. Whihc one do you guys think is better?

Doubt that one is noticeably better than the other.

But i *can* tell you that i've installed dozens of d-link 530TX+'s into computers, and never had a problem.

So i'd probably go with that

I agree with Sohcrates and the general assumption about Nic cards. I'm not sure if your specific Nics are listed here, but Tom had a review on Nics awhile back Link. I hope that helps.

I have the $15 Linksys card from newegg. I can't tell a different between it and my old $35 3Com NIC. The Linksys card actually has a smaller footprint.

When picking a NIC I just choose whichever one has good drivers. I've installed a few of those D-links and they are fine. I also pick based on linux support .. right now all my linux boxen have ISA slots and I'm using 3C509's .. (10mbit)
