Which Processor do you prefer & why?

This is an opinion poll. I hear people knock pentium processor more than AMD processors.
The question is why do you prefer one over the other?

Speed?
Price?
Because AMD is the underdog?
Intel is TOO big?

Let me know.

I am interested to hear your thoughts.

Can we stop beating the dead horse? "Search" feature on these forums works pretty darn well, and you'll be more than satisfied with 50+ thread on this topic.

Doubtful, but thanx for your input.

Let's hear from others. Most of the forums are people asking about their system, whether built or in the process of being built, as a whole. This is not suppose to be a fight over the subject, just a way that we can discuss the reasoning for our opinions.

I am using this is learn why and get up to speed. I haven't been keeping up with computer technology lately.
