Which PSU to buy?

Hello ATPSU,

Got a quick and dirty question for y'all: will the Seasonic G Series 550W power supply be enough to power the following rig:

• 3770K overclocked to ~4.5GHz or so on air (hopefully)
• Asus P8Z77-I
• Samsung 512GB 830 SSD, possibly adding one more SSD or a HDD in the future
• 16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical
• HD7950 or HD7870XT pushed to max stable <-- still have to buy one or the other

It seems like a solid 80Plus gold-rated power supply that will work nicely with my Fractal Node 304 case (needs modular cables on the edge of the PSU). However, I'm not sure if the overclocking tax the total wattage too much. My other option is get the 650W version, but it's quite a bit more expensive. At that price point I could fetch an AX760i for a similar price: around $140. Just not entirely sure which one I should settle on, bless me with your input please

you should be good, anandtech puts an OC 7950 + i7 3960x @ 4.3GHz at 400w

Thanks guys, after your recommendations and a little more digging I'm settled on the 550w G Series - nice to have a little coin left in my pockets.
