which RAM can handle the highers FSBs at CAS 2 ?

Crucial PC133 CAS2.. but they're sold out because everyone wants em so bad. For $140 they outperform DIMMs twice as expensive.

I must disagree, the Crucial is very good stuff, but in the tests I have seen, the Mushkin Mosel Rev.2 went higher. It is very expensive now though, so the Crucial is probably the best bet since it did not get beat by much.

If you want to exceed 150 MHZ FSB then go with Mushkin Mosel Viltal rev 2.0 ...best memory I have ever used.

i run Mosel Viltal rev 2.0 that i bought at a computer fair last month for $139 - runs at cas2 on an ABIT BF6 at 145fsb.

Well I believe I have read all the Ram reviews and have never seen any reviewing the Cas 2 Crucial which ends with 7E on the part number. So the reviews mean nothing. I have Crucial and run it at 150 fsb cas 2 no problem. After that my processor pukes out 1050 mhz is all the dam 700 will do LOL!!!!!

Its the CPU I have tried setting the ram to 4/3 which lowers it way down and cas 3 anything above 1050 mhz give me blue screens just as windows loads. Over a gig is fine for 200 bucks.

Bricolo - tried 148(still at cas2) but my 650E only likes that w/ 1.9v, and i don't, so to answer, yes the ram can go higher - its great stuff - probably pretty pricey right now tho.

don't understand your last ? - you will probably not find mosel or any other high end pc133 mem for cheap right now.

256mb sticks tend to not o'c as well as 128mb, however 2 128mb sticks is also a gamble - the best chance of hitting high fsbs are using single 128mb sticks of ram, but you never know.

I don't want something cheap , but the mushkin (190$) is too expensive for me, crucial is much more affordable (140$) and mushkin's shipping fees are 36$, crucial costs 15$.

I run 2 128s no problem at 150 fsb Cas 2. In fact the system seems to like it better with 2. I have 36 gigs of progs and games and have a DVD card, TV card, SB Live, Network Card, Geforce 2, 4 USB devices, 2 Hard Drive, DVD drive and CDRW. I think this all eats up 128 megs with programs running and the system need 256 megs of ram.
