Which RAM setup is quicker?

Just a hypothetical question. I know there is a definite answer, but I thought I'd ask ya guys to see what sort of answers it generates.


Which RAM setup is faster?


Two 64MB ram modules or one 128MB ram module.

All modules are spec'd exactly the same...manufacturer, ns, CAS, timing, PCxxx, etc....



From what I know of memory architecture, it shouldn't make a difference......

maybe with two sticks you can do interleving... I am not sure, and it depends on the mobo to have that function.
