Which sennheiser headset?

Which sennheiser headset do you recommend for my gaming and music needs (some DVDs occasionally)? Are the PC160 50$ better than the PC150? What about the PC155?
Other recommendations are welcome, though I heard the Sennheisers are the best pc headphones around.

I have both the HD580 headphones and the PC150 headset. For $38 shipped from Amazon, the PC150 is clearly the winner. If you are not planning on spending over $80, you won't find anything better for the dual purpose headset/music use. The HD580/600/650 are all awesome, but the PC150 is very satisfying for everyday use - especially considering you don't need a real amp to push them like you do on the headphones. Trying to power the headphones off the soundcard alone results in toilet sounding quality.

The PC155 are the PC150 with a plug in USB adapter, which I no longer use because it bypasses your soundcard and I'm using the SB Audigy 4 Pro which wouldn't make much sense to bypass...

I've never tried the PC160 but can't imagine they are an enormous improvement.

I can't really justify paying 150+ for headphones. I am thinking of a cheaper set.

Good info here, I know nothing about headphones and the PC150's look like they will fulfill my needs perfectly.... and just think I was about to buy those Logitech ones... :/

PC 150's don't come with the USB adapter, just straight up mic+headset jacks. The PC155's and 160's come with the USB adapter.

What do you guys think of the PC135? They selling for 59.99, are they worth the extra 30$ over the PC150? And what's up with the "noice cancelling", does it really work?

The PC135 is the same as the PC130 but with the USB adapter again. They are NOT as good as the PC150. IMO the 150's are great for the price. I'm on my second pair after my cat destroyed the first. I'm not sure how they compare to the 160's though.

pc150 is cheap as hell and well worth the money. the mic works great and the headphones perform well for the price

Let's say you only have one 1/8" output on your soundcard, which is taken up with yoru speakers - you will have to plug and unplug your speakers all the time to swap in your headset. With the option to put on a USB thingie, you can just use a USB port instead. Also, evidently some laptops have no audio out jacks, so you would need a USB headset for that.

I started off with the HD280, then the HD595, then a PIMETA amp, then the Sony V6, then some KSC75, and MX500s mixed into there. It's BAD! Well yeah, I was amazed by the prices of headphones they're recommending over there.
I guess I'll buy the PC150 now that you guys recommend these for the price.
