Which sport is the most boring sport?

Baseball is the greatest sport ever. Its a pure skills game..its filled with great stats. A game could be decided on one pitch...it can be an emotional game. Its a sport where a team cannot be carried by one person (excluding Bonds who is a freak)..its truly a team sport. I suppose those with an attention span of a gnat can't get into it.


Golf is boring to watch.. Tennis is dull as hell and is truly the longest game in terms of time. I mean really.. one mens match could last 4 hours!! Thats ridiculous. Football is garbage... what is it.. 1 hour of gametime..how much action is there?? Very little.

Basketball is crap. Curling is stupid. Not sure why Soccer is so popular worldwide..its not for me but I can appreciate the pride fans have in their country's in the World Cup.

Curling definitely. Baseball is the only sport I watch, and so I'd put all others between it & curling. Actually I've been known to watch golf as well, I guess the OP had old fogeys like me in mind when making the poll But I don't follow it the way I do baseball, and probably wouldn't watch at all if I didn't also play.

I gotta see a cricket game one day. I've never seen it before. I have no clue what "snooker" is. Funny thing about this topic. ..I think Tennis is awful to watch, but I love playing it. Snooker, similar to pool/ billiards but on a larger table. It's a slower game and requires you to pot a red ball then a coloured ball in successions, highest score wins.

Agreed, but you have to be into it (i.e. you generally have to care about at least one team that's playing). It's much more enjoyable to watch in person, but it isn't TOO bad when on tv.

Last years playoffs were a fantastic example of why baseball is the greatest. Especially the Yanks/Sox series.. i am no fan of either team (I'm a Mets fan..ugh), but that series was just tremendous.

Since the OP never mentioned anything about what aspect of the game, I assume its watching it on TV or something. I go to jays games and I know it?s a lot more entertaining live then it is on TV. BUT, having said that, it is oh so boring compared to a sport like Hockey. Since your name is Wingznut, I assume you?re a Redwings fan. I don?t know how you can stand to watch this game on TV when compared to Hockey which is so much faster and more entertaining.

Ice curling is goofy, but not boring. Baseball is excruciating to watch and to play. It's one of the worst sports ever created. I would argue it's the worst, because unfortunately it's also popular, thus making it the most overrated sport in the history of humankind.
