I've never ridden before.

Choices:

1.) Honda CBR 600RR?

2.) MV Agusta F4R?

3.) Ducati 1189R?

4.) Buy Motogp 2009 for the xbox 360 console and a Moto gp diecast scale model?

You forgot the Turbo Hayabusa.

Of your choices I'd probably go with the Honda though, just always liked those. None are bad choices though. If you're gonna go, go in style right?

LOLS! How in the world do you keep the front wheels down on those things?
I've seen youtube vids of a turbo'd R1. Its just as fast as an F1 car on the straightaway...

I understand about having to take the required MSF course to get a license. If I survive that course (some change their minds about riding) I probably would even start off with a Vespa or twin headlight Yamaha 49cc scooter. Then if I by a miracle survive through that as well upgrade to faster bikes as I get more experience. Also, Of course I would never ride at night time and wet weather, ALWAYS wear a full geared helmet, leather gear, boots, gloves, etc....

RichieZ's suggestion on #4 is definitely the thing I plan on doing for sure.

Correction. I meant to say the 1199R Panigale not 1189R. OOppsss. I'm very sorry, my bad.

@tortoise. Thanks for that forum link on scooters. Realistically, a 49cc to 150cc scooter is where a beginning rider should start off with even for the MSF course.

I just figured you weren't at all serious since you posted 3 bikes nobody should ever choose as a first bike and a video game.

Nobody starts out on a $30,000 Ducati 1199 Panigale R.

I'd suggest starting out on a Honda rs250. It's 250cc and pretty light so it must be beginner friendly.

Yes it is a serious question. That's why I mentioned about scooters as a starting bike and mentioned about the gear you need to ride. I just needed input and opinions on bikes before actually buying.

I forgot to put a 5th option of buying a car like a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, which might actually be not a bad choice considering it is: AWD, turbocharged, something I can use for getting groceries, don't have to worry about balancing something on 2 wheels so its safer for long rides. Lastly, its cheaper than say a Ferrari on insurance, parts, mpg, goes just as fast a supercar if you tune it properly and the list goes on.

Lastly, if you want a high performance bike this is a good alternative to ICE engines: https://www.mission-motorcycles.com/

Its fast, "instant torque" because it is electric, light with excellent handling and it is American.....

lol @ OP if you think a good starter bike is any of the ones you mentioned. 1/10 on troll scale.

Based on the posts, I think OP should pay more attention to homework rather than daydreaming about motorcycles.

So getting a college education first before buying "toys" is the answer? Thanks for the reminder! (serious)

I would not buy a Ducati as a newbie rider.
Its a pleasure to finally get one after years of riding....kinda like a reward for staying alive.
Does one buy a Ferrari for a first car?(lotto winners excluded)

@pauldun170... My sincere apologies for my earlier post! I seriously WASN'T mad at you or anything, even though it may have seemed that way. I was thinking about something else in my mind about IRL stuff while typing out my forum response.

@Wild Thing. Congrats on getting a Ducati! Ducatis are REALLY sweet looking bikes and I'm pretty sure its fun to ride as well.

Don't forget the Honda Grom. If I was looking for a new bike, I'd take a hard look at it. Awesome little package, especially if you don't foresee yourself going on the highway.
