Which Star Trek do you consider best?

I'm partial to TNG, but for me Voyager takes the cake. Enterprise is a close second because of T'Pol and her massages.

Voyager has the right mix of campiness (Tuvix), action (Borg), and sexuality (Jeri Ryan back in the day).

T'Pol. Mmmm... yeah. Jeri Ryan was definitely attractive, but Jolene Blalock's ass ranked up there with the best I've ever seen anywhere. Oh, and the show had a grittier more realistic feel to it, and I liked that.

After the recent Star Trek in 2009 the timeline changed and none of those treks existed.

I would have picked the original series if they had a few more seasons, another knock I had was some episodes are very dated like the hippie singers. oh, and the awful klingon make up, it's all a little too low budge but kirk, spock, mccoy and scotty are the best ensemble by far.

One complaint of TNG that I do have is the characters are a bit too plastic, especially when they explore their humanity.

I would have picked the original series if they had a few more seasons, another knock I had was some episodes are very dated like the hippie singers. oh, and the awful klingon make up, it's all a little too low budge but kirk, spock, mccoy and scotty are the best ensemble by far.

One of Paramount's chief gripes was that TOS was costing 225K/episode, that was a lot in those days. If they didn't give it a Friday night time slot it probably would have lasted longer although by year 3 they were running out of ideas. "Spocks brain" is an example of a weak episode. Thing is TNG was accused of reusing a lot of TOS stories with just a slight re-write..

I've been re-watching DS9 on netflix from time to time and can only think "what kind of crap is this". Voyager was 10x the series DS9 was (after they gave Janeway balls in season2).

I could never really get into TOS, probably because I have a hard time getting into any older television shows from that time period.

For me: TNG, Voy, TOS, DS9, Ent

I could never get into DS9 either. At the time they aired each episode back in the '90s I would watch Voyager instead because the plots and action were better.

DS9 seemed boring. Maybe I will go back on Netflix and try watching it to give it a fair shake.

Hey how is the colour on TNG? I haven't seen it in years but when I do happen to catch a few minutes it looks all worn and colourless. I gotta think they filmed it in HD but it doesn't look like it. It looks like a bad vcr rip.

I just got a plasma tv and a blu ray player that's why I'm asking.
