Actually this is the standard plate:

Actually that is the 2009 standard issue plate that has been in use for 3 years. As of July the plate ElFenix posted is the new standard issue plate that has started being issued in the Houston area and will make it's way to the rest of the state soon. I am going to pay the fee and get these plates, even though I only bought my truck 9 months ago....as soon as the registration is up.

Give me a plain license plate. I feel like colored plates potentially clash with the car. I want a plate that does not call attention to itself, and won't be noticed unless you are looking for it.
