They do guarantee the AYHJA stepping...
What they don't guarantee is an AYHJA "Y" however. You could get unlucky and end up with an AYHJA "9" from Newegg. However, OCZ does guarantee an AYHJA "Y".
First of all, i'm not throwing around any "accusations"...and while newegg.com is a great retailer w/ good customer support...OCz does not have that good of a rep around here and on the reseller ratings as well.
I agree, if I were to choose a vendor, it would be Newegg. However, they don't provide a guaranteed AYHJA "Y", plus this guy already ordered from OCZ so it would require little to change his order=less time wasted, plus he's ordering a guaranteed stepping CPU which I doubt OCZ will have trouble fulfilling.
Compare a 6.4 rating to a 4.3...and pls tell me why you would pay 179 bucks for a 1.33 when you could pay 116 AYHJA @ newegg.com. Why pay more...
Maybe if you actually read this thread, you'd know by know that he's only paying $113 SHIPPED from OCZ, for a processor Newegg cannot even guarantee. So it's a better deal PERIOD.
No, i do not work for newegg.com but i'm only trying ot help the guy instead of "tossing around accusations that may complicate this guys life." Maybe you should do a lil research b4 you post something like that...
Don't get me wrong, I tout Newegg as my favorite vendor of all time, but maybe you should A. Read the thread completely; B. Put yourself in the man's shoes; C. Weigh the options more carefully.
Yeah, you can post as many bad evals as you want. I've ordered from vendors like Newegg, and from vendors like OCZ, without any problems. I'm not trying to be ignorant, but if you want to convince the man to order from another company, try to find him a better deal first.
Go ahead: find an AYHJAY stepping 1.33GHz Athlon for $113 shipped or less, from a more reputable vendor.
