MW2's multiplayer is fantastic, if a little frenetic as well. The enemies seem to always know where you are, and if you're used to pwning people in games like Battlefield then you're in for a rude awakening. I know I was!
I didn't play MW1 or WAW online though, so that might be why MW2 feels so fresh.
L4D2, I downloaded the demo and thought it was awful. The zombies just kept coming from every possible direction and didn't seem very fun to shoot anymore. I also didn't like the characters except for the kid in the hat and the football coach. Those two were great but the other two I disliked. I liked all 4 of the L4D1 characters...
I might just be a bitter L4D1 fan though, so take that for what it's worth.
