WHICH TYPES of fans work with RADEON LE (to o/c to 166mhz or 183mhz)???

Ok guys. I am going to get the RADEON LE and o/c it to 166mhz or 183mhz. I know I could do this w/ stock cooling but just to be safer I want a fan. So the types of fans I could put onto the board are a 40mm fan, a 60mm fan, or a 486 fan? Is this right? Are there any other fans I could use? (preferably cheap/old).

You could probably just get an old Heatsink Fan and plug it into the motherboard. I intend to eventually put my old P3 700 HS/F on my LE's core when I feel like running it above stock permanently.

I don't know the measurement of it, but the one that was on an old Socket 7 HS/F is what I used without any problems.

ok, but did it screw right onto the heatsink or do u need some kind of paste?

If you use just a fan with the stock heatsink, you pretty much just have to find your own way of fastening it to the heastink as well as you can, be it screws, glue, twist-ties, etc.

In the case of Heatsink/Fans, you remove the existing heatsink on the core and replace it with the HS/F (as it's designed as a complete unit). In that case, thermal adhesive would be what you want to use.

I put a socket 7 50mm fan in one. Screwed it to the HS just like a CPU.

Epoxy it on. A old Pentium fans should fit, even some of the newer generic K6-2 fan.
