Now, I am not a techie, so excuse the dumb statement below if I am wrong:

I believe a USB hub will allow me to turn my USB port (or one of them) into a multiple device port. I now have uses for 4 USB devices but only have 2 USB ports.

If that is correct, which USB 4 port hub offers the best quality/value combo?

Just MAKE SURE to get a powered one.

I've got a D-Link that's very similar to that one. Right now it's running my Epson printer, Sidewinder Joystick, Sidewinder FF steering wheel. And it's performing flawlessly.

I can easily recommend that one.

i bought one at sam's made by stratitec. never heard of them but needed one asap and it's been perfect. not one problem and i have 4 devices on it (printer, camera, joystick, joypad). it's powered and came with 2 a-b usb cables! was 21$ before tax. hard price to beat.

This seems to be a good deal, it is self powered.

Think about one issue. Currently you have two ports, adding 4 port hub, turns the system from 2 port to 5 ports (since one port on the Mobo will be connected to the hub). If you think that in the near future you will use more USB devices, 6 or 8 port hub would be a better choice.

Some devices have problems running through the USB ports on the MS keyboard.

I have a powered Belkin 4-port hub that came free with my MS Natural KB Pro. Staples had a deal at the time.

I have that keyboard. While it's a very nice keyboard, the USB ports aren't powered, which can cause issues. For instance, my printer would "lose connection" occasionally when hooked up to the kb port. When I use my hub, it works perfectly.

For joysticks, mice, etc..., the kb ports work just fine.
