On-demand Music - imeem.com - This is nowhere near as user-friendly as Pandora, but you get to hear the song you want to hear right now
Photo storage - flickr.com - I actually use Facebook. Both Flickr and Facebook are directly linked to Picnik.com, a third-party, web-based app that lets you do simple fixes like cropping, rotating, and brightness/contrast.
Serious photo edits [1of2] - pixlr.com - This does 90% of what Photoshop can do, which is pretty incredible for something web-based.
Serious photo edits [2of2] - sumopaint.com - Does 90% of what Pixlr.com can do, but can also feather a selection
Video storage - youtube.com - You can upload straight from a memory card or e-mail a video in from your mobile phone. You can even record straight from a webcam, which means that you never have to take up memory on any local drive. You can mark videos private, which you can then share with up to 25 people
Colored noise generator - simplynoise.com - I prefer oscillating pink
Audio editor - aviary.com/launch/myna[/L] - Upload wav, aif, mp3, wma, m4a, or ogg. Mix, apply the most commonly used effects and fades. Download as mp3 or wav. Limitations are that registration is required, it's limited to 10 inputs, and the maximum length of sound file is five minutes

Productivity

Office Suite - docs.google.com - Besides being able to save in the corresponding Microsoft compatible format, you can also save as PDF. I made this spreadsheet in Google Docs.

PDF Creator - docs.google.com - Google Docs offers the option of exporting (downloading) a file as a PDF

Is there anything that seamlessly integrates my Favorites into an online site?
I would want my Bookmarks Toolbar ... the whole enchilada... to look exactly like it does.
But perhaps have a very basic "login" area on the status bar(?) .. that in turn would ensure all my bookmarks are up to date and are the same no matter what PC I'm on.

Opera has something like this built in if you register for My Opera.

[Opera Link] synchronizes your bookmarks, Speed Dial entries, notes, and personal bar, so they are available to you wherever you go. The Web version of Opera Link makes your bookmarks available even from other browsers.

With Firefox, you can get close with either Xmarks or SyncPlaces

I'm with corkyg, I'm really not a fan of webapps.

I do have a Google account with mail and calendar, but I virtually never use the web interface. I've got my Google calendar and work Exchange calendar syncing so I usually just use Outlook for that and I've got my home machine pulling down my Google mail via IMAP and going to my blackberry.

Same thing with Facebook and Pandora, 99% of my interaction with them is via my blackberry as well.

Yup. No sign-up or sign-in either

Now, if only it were possible to directly edit photos stored on Flickr or Facebook with Pixlr instead of Picnik...

I don't use any web based calendar. I do email a lot, but don't use a suite. I use mainly single programs:

1. Mail Washer Pro
2. Eudora Pro 7.51
3. Thunderbird

None of those are suites. They are unifunction programs.They live in my computer, not on the web.

Hm. I guess I was thinking of it in terms of things I used to do locally.

For example, to listen to music, I used to (exclusively) use Winamp to play mp3 files stored on my hard drive, but now I also use Pandora and Imeem.

Webapps works for me. I.e., what webapps do you use?

On that basis I use my ISP's webmail; On-Line Banking; On Line Brokerage Account; Google sports tracker; Google Stock tracker; Smugmug; XM Radio; several forums.

I try to avoid relying on web applications because I've been in situations without internet for up to a week or more from time to time and it is no fun(and not very productive either) if everything you had on your computer at the time relied on the internet to work.

The one function that Photoshop has and Pixlr doesn't that I use frequently is the ability to feather a selection.

Good point.

I guess that's why I've gravitated toward apps that are fairly compatible with their desktop-based counterparts
