Saw a Ford GT prowling the streets of Puyallup, Washington the other day. I'd have sex with that car given the opportunity. Apparently my wife thought that I was, what with her reaction to the noises I was making when I saw it and all.

Actually I like the way you think!

What the hell else would you spend the money on? If you are buying either of these you have the means.

Vette is too in your face. Looks brash and just screams "I'm trying to compensate for something."

The F430 is nowhere near as gorgeous as the 360 Modena or F355. It's design looks like a caricature of the 360 while the interior is a bit stark to me.

The Aston Martin AMV8 is gorgeous inside and out and is just an overall classy vehicle. I'd never be able to use either a F430 or Z06's power on public streets, so I rather look at the Aston and be coddled by that gorgeous interior than the other too.

Gorgeous vehicle:

What kind of dumb poll is this? Cars are not even in the same price range.

Yeah, but it's a British car...Personally, I'd take a Ferrari over an Aston based on that alone...unless I was filming a Bond movie of course.

The Corvette definitely comes in last though.

Edit-Just noticed your post count is 62615 and mine is 26215.

This is not meant to represent any, well, anything! These are definitely not in the same price range. However, these cars represent completely different things in the sports car realm. The vette is the best on the track hands down; give it a straight line or curves and it will out perform anything short of about 300 grand(don't bother me with exceptions, I'm sure the internet can provide something). The Ferrari is well, a FERRARI. And the Aston is more about style and sophistication. Yes, there is a great experience to go along with the Aston but, of the three, the Aston is the most beautiful(IMO). And so on and so on... I just want to see what people prefer if one assumes the means.

The Aston has class, elegance, and refinement written all over it.
The Ferrari has too much of a "bad boy" rebellious image that I'd like if I were 17.
The Z06 however I really love but the Aston is just more breathtaking overall.

Let's assume they're all equal price - I'll pick the Z06.

If I got a Z06, it would be found on the track and since I don't have tons of money laying around for a team to work on it or to experiment with dozens of options on certain parts through the use of shops, I would be able to work on it myself. The Aston and Ferrari would be harder to work on, AFAIK, and require more expensive parts. The Z06 would be great to learn to run around a track with.

If they're not the same price, I'd line up a buyer and sell whichever I can get the most cash for.

If this assumes having access to the labor and mechanical knowledge, not worrying about upkeep and maintenence, blah blah blah - the F430.

Any Aston, even the AMV8 > F430 > Any Corvette

Ferrari's are generally too rough-riding for my taste. A ride in a 360 nearly broke my back, but it IS a sexy beast. But I like my back in one piece, thanks.

Now Astons, there's a car that screams elegance, comfort, flair, performance, and prestige all in one tight package. The ride comfort is far, FAR superior to what Ferrari can offer IMO. I've never actually driven a Ferrari, only ridden in some, but the Astons I've driven have convinced me I'd sell my mother to a slavedriver if it meant I could own one. And sure... the Ferrari is faster, but I don't need the fastest thing out there. I just want something that will still push me hard into the seat back; it doesn't have to do it more so than everything else.

As for Corvettes? Way too common. If I was going to splurge on a performance car, I'd want some degree of exclusivity. Even here in Alaska, there's dozens, if not hundreds, of shiny new Vettes running around. No thanks. I do know that, if I had an Aston, it'd be the only one in Anchorage. Same can't be said if I picked up a 360 or a 430.
