The ACLU came out in defense of the demonstration, did they also enable Nazis? However, this demonstration was never about a statue. The alt-right attendees, given their personal riot gear and weapons, were there for one reason and that was to antagonize and fight.

The police should have confiscated every shield, spear, gun, gas mask, kevlar helmet and piece of body armor they saw. You don't need those things unless you plan to start sh!t.

However, unless Charlottsville has an active and well organized Nazi hunting militia we don't know about, there were a lot of well armed and well equipped protestors looking to start sh!t as well.

Several things.

I am so worn out in making comments about the presidential Anti-Christ. And part of the exhaustion I feel for it derives from the sheer magnitude for how Trump has exceeded my expectations for bringing a great America to lower than crocodile piss in a sinkhole during the span of six months or so.

The Charlottesville fiasco proves something profound.

You can infer or simply suspect that a significant component of Trump voters has been fuming with rage for eight years of the Obama presidency because the country elected a very fine gentleman and able statesman to the White House -- who happened to be a "person of color." For the galactically stupid and monumentally ignorant, Obama cannot possibly be "their" president because of his complexion.

Some of them may actually be panicked and desperate over the imagined implications the Obama presidency had for the future of the human race. How terrible, that a Man of Color could possibly be an excellent president.

So in a collective psychology spanning at least some part of the Trump base, they chose to elect the most disgusting "white person" ever to appear on the TV over the last sixty years.

Trump represents the dark lower underbelly of the American Character. "What?!" they say. How can the Exceptional Americans of American Exceptionalism have a dark lower underbelly?!" Believe a myth deeply enough, and the Truth will fly past you unseen. So much for human progress.

America needs a liposuction. The fact that the Charlottesville disaster could occur only proves my major point with this.

So those are my rational thoughts. How do I feel? I feel as though the lower underbelly has slapped mainstream America in the face with an insult.

I don't just want revenge for that. I want a thousand eyes for an eye. I want to deliver a roundhouse punch to the Alt Right face. And while the media and anti-Trumpists have been kind to the Monster in keeping the discussion limited to the immediate issues, I suspect there is a growing number like myself who are moving toward a new resolve.

We don't "hate" Trump -- who will pull the old Josef Goebbels ploy of being first to call us "The Haters."

No. We F***ing DESPISE Trump. While a politician may be too kind to the Trump base for fear of losing some number of future votes, I'm not running for office. So I won't be kind.

We freaking DESPISE Trump supporters. We especially despise the fringe element who prepared themselves with helmets, shields and baseball bats for their little tantrum of a demonstration.

I was once indifferent about giving any honor to the Confederacy. I was indifferent to flying the stars and bars.
