Jesus I can't believe I missed out on this thread...

I know a thread about Nazis and oppressed white people being ass hats you haven't been involved in.

Amazing since the only threads in P&N you post in are threads related to racial issues. But you aren't racist..........

I haven't even bothered to pay attention to the emo, so I'm going to assume I was right, and it wasn't violent until the peace loving and pure peaceful intention Lefties showed up? Or were 'the Nazis' wrecking sh1t from the get-go?

The Alt Right cheerleaders want to argue this issue of "hate" is symmetric.

I hate a lot of things and a lot of people. I don't organize a group indoctrinated to bask in their own hate.

Some folks I know actually suspect that Trump is the Anti-Christ. Suspicions are based on the address for the building and property owned by Kushner Properties -- 666 Fifth Avenue. We suspect Trump of irreverent hypocrisy when he spoke of having his "little wine and his little wafer" during his supposed church attendance, and we snicker at his remark that he's "well churched." But mainly, some suspect this because Trump is a master of excessive and absurd lies.

Do we hate Satan and his minions?

Did we hate Communism or individual communists?

How do we really feel about Trump? We'd rather use something other than the "H" word: We DESPISE him. The word despise is cited as a synonym for "hate," but it has a meaning with a subtle difference: it signifies contempt and derision. So we despise Trump for his personality disorder and the values he promotes -- values that often seem fundamentally un-American, unhealthy or undesirable.

What reasons legitimize the feeling of despising someone? Race? Religion? Those are illegitimate reasons. If I despise Trump for his insincerity, his duplicity, his low character -- it is an emotion directed at one person -- not a group of persons. If I despise the Alt Right as a group, it is because the fundamental basis of their organization is not legitimate. It is not American. In general, it is not humanly acceptable.

Lefties don't organize themselves around a principle of hatred. Some extreme leftist groups have been violent, like the Weathermen. Some would cite the Black Panthers of the 1960s. But the organizing principle of "Black Lives Matter" is not one of hating so-called white people.

Am I splitting hairs? Probably. But there is no symmetry in this, as suggested by the so-called President's initial statement after the Charlottesville violence.

If you have an Enemy, do you hate "it" as opposed to hating individuals organized behind it? Do you despise the Enemy?

The Alt Right has been using this logic to undermine the press and no less groups supporting causes the Right wishes would just go away. They've taken advantage Tolerance and the Law in order to undermine Tolerance and the Law.

When the Blue armies of the North defeated the Gray armies of the South, do you think they had a kum-bayh-yah moment with fist-bumps and hugs?

Entertaining when totally-not-stormfront types reliably parrot stormfront.

There's been links throughout the thread. And Google in front if you. I challenge you to find some credible sources.

It's pretty easy to see why conservatives are looking out for their klan buddies here.

I would love to hear an original thought and not the typical insult and new buzzword of the day. Can you actually provide support on why you now think that several posters are in the klan or support the klan? I'm under the impression you are calling me a racist along with other posters as well.

No mystery why the gop party faithful arguements coincide with the people marching.

I'll wait. Often these little FB videos have a sneaky way of being edited for 1/4 truth (and we know Lefties would <TedKennedyVoice>nevah, evah, nevah</TedKennedyVoice> do that, only They have pure and righteous intentions!), and it isn't until later you get the whole story. That being said, I'm not sure how this dude will explain away ramming a bunch of people. Unless they were being violent and he had no easy way to avoid them, he's certainly going to jail for a good while...

So instead of 74% of all killings it is really 74% of the narrow subset of "extremist killings". Which is a total of 372 over the last 10 according to the cited link.

https://areomagazine.com/2017/05/28...ght-wing-extremist-than-an-islamic-terrorist/

September 12 2001 - December 31 2016:
Muslim extremists = 119 deaths
Right wing extremists = 106 deaths

http://www.snopes.com/2017/06/07/threat-extremists-more/
September 12 2001 - December 31 2016:
Muslim extremists = 119 deaths
Right wing extremists = 158 deaths

Either source doesn't come close to your 74% even before including the black extremists. It goes back 15 years and would actually bias it towards the right wing point and still doesn't add up. Not good in any case but stop trying to mislead people about the dangers of extremists in the US considering the % of the population Muslims comprise in the US.

For a little bit more from the snopes article (emphasis mine)

According to START, Muslim extremist violence killed seven times more people than far-right extremist violence between 1990 and 2016, despite five times fewer fatal attacks. However, this period included the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing and the attacks of 11 September 2001, the two deadliest terrorist incidents in American history. When those outliers are removed from the figures, according to START, far-right extremist violence caused 272 deaths between 1990 and 2016 — more than twice as many as the 130 deaths from Islamic extremism during the same period.

So whether Muslim or far-right extremists have killed more Americans depends on how you measure such incidents and which source you use. And sorting through attacks and placing them in the categories of “terrorism”, “violent extremism” or “hate crimes” can sometimes be extremely complicated.

But when it comes to extremist violence perpetrated by refugees, the numbers are unequivocal. In the four decades between 1975 and 2015, only 20 individuals who arrived in the U.S. as refugees either attempted or carried out a terrorist attack – resulting in three deaths. And, of most relevance to President Donald Trump’s proposed immigration ban, all three of those killings were perpetrated by anti-Castro refugees.

Not a single death has resulted from terrorist activity by a Muslim extremist refugee.

Good strategery...
My strategy is to not defend racists fucks, who sadly....all Americans should be condemning....but now many wont.

By playing the both sides games, the right has effectively taken nazis under their umbrella. Gg Cons.

Edit, btw, I'm not a Facebook user....and subsequently don't watch any of those little videos, that the horrific left uses to paint nazis in a terrible light....those crazy lefties....always giving nazis shit.
