Well, 3 decades of experience has taught me without any doubt that minorities are way more racist than the average white person. So, taking away the Whites that make up BLM leaves us with minorities (of course), that would mean that group is composed largely of racists. But, I'm really fine with that. I don't care if the Blacks in BLM are racist. I'm far more concerned how they actually treat people. I'm racist, and I treat my black neighbors like I treat my white neighbors, and they likewise. Our yards are all close, noise travels. Conversations travel. They know I'm racist, I know they're racist. We all get along fine.

The ACLU came out in defense of the demonstration, did they also enable Nazis? However, this demonstration was never about a statue. The alt-right attendees, given their personal riot gear and weapons, were there for one reason and that was to antagonize and fight.
The police should have confiscated every shield, spear, gun, gas mask, kevlar helmet and piece of body armor they saw. You don't need those things unless you plan to start sh!t.
