How about minorities tend to live more in cities and urban areas. Some gay people live in conservative areas and rural areas. Some fraction of those people living in rural or conservative areas may under report being gay for fear, personal preference, social stigma, etc. Those rural and more conservative areas tend to be mostly white. That is what was mentioned in the footnotes of the actual study. I seriously doubt there is a significant difference in rates of homosexuality between different races.

Also, the notes in the study said they weighted the results based on census data. We saw how well Gallup failed in the last Presidential elections so I would take them with a grain of salt.

Nailed it. I used to live a few blocks from boystown in Chicago and watching young men move to an area where they were suddenly allowed to be themselves was interesting.

Dressing well or grooming doesn't make you metrosexual, excessive grooming does. Get a monthly pedicure, a weekly spray tan, and spend 45 minutes on your hair, etc.

Its just a coined term anyways so it doesn't really matter.

I suppose, but my point is that being gay (IMO) is not innate, sexual orientation is developed as a person matures through puberty. So what happens pre-birth is irrelevant to a person sexual orientation.
