Holy crap, someone could do well with this. Looks like most of these are just purchases within a time frame (today through Friday if I'm reading it right). Make purchases in groups to get coupon discounts, submit your rebates, and end up with very little put out. Fleabay what you don't want, and I can see someone making some serious cash off this deal and getting to keep whatever they want. Wow, if this is still active when I get home tonight, I may do the whole set of deals.

are you guys sure that you can just buy ONE copy of Office XP and get all the other rebates w/ that copy? I think the rebate states one offer per purchase. It would be BAAAD if you buy everything and find out that you are only eligible for one rebate.

The rebate slips do say that, but that doesn't coincide with the promos they usually do. For instance, when WindowsME came out, you could get about 15 things free after rebate...and they honored them all...

My bet is that tomorrow's paper will tell the true story...

All promotions except for one (the one for Palm) seems to require a copy of Office UPC code. To me, this says that they can be combined, but of course, that would have to be confirmed.

Damn this is hot. Only the Palm requires the original UPC code from Office XP. All of the others only require copies of the UPC code. Still could be a problem though if they enforce the "Offer not valid with any other rebates, offers or promotions". You could be out over $300 if they do this, although you'd have the merchandise. You would get the Palm free though.

yeah, but you still have to buy that POS Office XP. Even with a coupon I don't want it. Reformat your hard drive 2 times and you have to call them to get them to reactive the program. It's finally happened. Microsoft has become Big Brother.

I guess I'm kinda slow or something but you guys are saying that you can do multiple orders to take advantage of various coupons then submit multiple receipts even though the rebate says "when purchased with XP"?

That would seem to indicate purchasing them all on the same order?

Staples CSR told me these items, generally anyway, may be purchased separately.

The Documents-to-Go rebate form online says it must be on the same receipt, but I did not notice such language in other rebates.

As Wolfgang pointed out all the rebates except "documents to go" do not specifically state that the purchase should be on the same receipt so you should be fine.

But, The palm rebate says that the palm rebate is valid with the purchase of following skus
459876, 459868, 459872, 459873, 460514

The original post of this thread is for the purchase of sku 459867

It is just a typo on the rebate form but if the rebate center is just looking at the skus then you might be in trouble if you send this in.
I would advice buying the other items but they are more expensive.
or you can wait till staples corrects the mistake.

You're right that it is strictly a typo, but that doesn't mean they won't try to do something with it. Staples is a good company -- they'll come through. But it is possible that they'll make a minor fuss first. I hope not.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, but I wouldn't forget about it, either.
