So I guess the OP is comparing the intolerance of the entire Mormon Church and other Prop 8 supporters to the "intolerance" of one or a couple of people who perpetrated these mailings.

Who btw - may or may not have been "the LEFT" as the OP so eloquently put it. Is "the left" in jail pending charges? The entire left is culpable for the acts of one?

From now on and in light of the Ashley Todd fraud, when I hear stories like this, I will just automatically assume the "victims" are the ones responsible just like the OP assumes "the left" did it.

You seem like you have something to prove. Let me just suggest this version of reality for you: 1.) Those who supported prop 8 are intolerant bigots, 2.) Whomever sent this white powder to the Mormon Church are intolerant domestic terrorists.

Prop 8 supporters are intolerant.

People become intolerant of others that are intolerant.

If you had a Prop 8 supporter serving burgers at the local McD's an Anti-Prop 8 person will still order burgers from him/her.

But once you show your intolerance you can expect people to react to that....sometimes in stupid ways ie 'white powder'

I don't blame all conservatives for the fringe that hijacked the Republican Party and then the country for the past 8 years, just the ones who belong to the club. I realize conservatism has many facets and that only a small percentage are brain damaged. BTW - truth and reality have no ilk, that dubious honor is reserved for the people who still think like you do in the year 2008. Thuggery and intimidation that is being displayed by the Bash Back group (gay activist) is wrong. The Mormons do not hate gay people, they believe in preserving the family unit as a man and woman heading the household. I'm not sure why there is a problem with a small minority of 2% of Mormons in California that take the opportunity to vote on what they believe in... regardless of whether or not other people think its fair or not...Isn't that what you all do when you go into vote?
