I dont drink that often anymore, maybe once or twice a month,

during first semester it was twice or thrice a week. then a bunch of people dropped out. but they was rich white kids so feh

I did the majority of drinking heavy back when I was a teen. Now that I am older, married, with kids its not approprate IMO to be drunk around them. I have cut back to maybe one beer a month and have had the same 6 pack in the fridge for almost a month with one beer gone from the pack.

I quit cold turkey around 4 1/2 years ago.

The final straw, for me personally, was at a rock concert I attended. I still don't know who was playing. I was walking around taking beers out of peoples hands, I have no idea how I didn't get into a fist fight that night. When I left the concert, yes I was driving, I was actually throwing up out the opened door while leaving the parking lot. I got to the Freeway and decided I couldn't make it home. Parked behind a flashing caution roadsign and passed out. Was awoke by a CalTrans worker around 4:00 in the morning, then drove home.

I was 32 years old at the time, on my second marriage, and my wife was 8 months pregnant.

I wilingly stopped drinking the next morning, and haven't had a drop since.

I stopped too. I used to be big on vodka, then I switched to wines. Now I'm lucky if I drink a glass of wine or a beer a month.

i am currently trying to quit. It would have been 5 months today but i drank last night, the urge to drink just got too strong.

I pretty much drank myself out freshman and sophomore year of college. It stopped being fun (I think it was mostly fun because it was new... I'd never drank in high school). Now, I just have a beer or a glass of wine on rare occasion (maybe once every month and a half) with dinner (if I go out to eat steak, that is the most likely time I'll have a beer). That's how it has been for about 3 years now.

I stopped drinking maybe 15 years ago. I don't miss it a bit, bad for relationships. Now the only time I buy beer is for boiling brats. Damn beer is expensive, costs more than the brats.

My friend had DIED off alcohol poisioning (they brought him back tho) and I still drink...

I don't drink as much as I would like to or use to (12 shots of Absolut on the weekends when I was hanging out with friends)...

I don't drink that much anymore (its been like a month) because I have job interviews.. It is also the reason I don't get high right now..

Once I got the job, pass the vodka so I can down it...
