I'm not close-minded, I let people do what they want.. I tried making friends with stoners at my college and they all didn't care to even try.. They just wanted to get high, I guess. I don't play an instrument, and really don't care to at this point in my life... (I live with my parents FFS, and we don't have even remotely sound resistance walls) What makes me interesting is what I am not, and not what I am.
I never tried it until I was 18 or so. I was a somewhat shy and introverted kid to begin with. I believe there are certain personality types that "mesh" with pot use quite well. So what I'm saying is it's probably good that you didn't startOriginally posted by: Fayd
i've never smoked it.
but then i'm antisocial, so that's to be expected.
maybe i'd benefit from it... nope... it'd probably just make me more lazy.

What IS it that makes you interesting? Your endless capacity to complain isn't it.

I dont need it, dont want it.
if you cant get by without it... then you have a problem regardless if its "not dangerous"...
I dont care if its legal on the state/local level. Its still federally illegal.
Finally its immoral, regardless of its legality on any level.
Says who, and based on what ethical/philosophical framework?
Please elaborate on this bold claim.
Why me and my right wing ultra conservative no-fun christian agenda of course.
Well he might have let this slide, but I would like to see an actual arguement for the immorality of entering an altered state, if you can formulate one. I doubt you can but I'd be very interested if you could. Unless you were being sarcastic in the original post too of course.

Nope, I have found good enough reasons. It wasn't anti-drug programs, because I was never really taught any of that stuff. I came to the decisions on my own. I rather not drink because of relaxed inhibitions. I rather not smoke marijuana because it is smoking. I talked my high school teachers and they honestly would tell us everything they had done. All of my teachers would give you an answer to almost any question.
So, for the most part, my teachers were open doors.
And these things do not make you interesting; they make you annoying and whiny. Things that make a person interesting are what differentiates them from others, and how they express themselves. You seem to just sit around whining about how your new house sucks, you have no friends, and you're going to a community college. What makes me interesting is what I am not, and not what I am.
