take out the TridentBoy posts and it's only about 15 pages.

this thread just hangs around... first you post in it just to see what it's like... and it feels kind of weird but in a good way... then you and your buddies all start posting in it together... before you know it, 25 pages have passed you by...

What IS it that makes you interesting? Your endless capacity to complain isn't it.

I never tried it until I was 18 or so. I was a somewhat shy and introverted kid to begin with. I believe there are certain personality types that "mesh" with pot use quite well. So what I'm saying is it's probably good that you didn't start

I dont care if its legal on the state/local level. Its still federally illegal.
Finally its immoral, regardless of its legality on any level.

Says who, and based on what ethical/philosophical framework?

Please elaborate on this bold claim.

Why me and my right wing ultra conservative no-fun christian agenda of course.

Well he might have let this slide, but I would like to see an actual arguement for the immorality of entering an altered state, if you can formulate one. I doubt you can but I'd be very interested if you could. Unless you were being sarcastic in the original post too of course.

all the arguement I need.

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body," (1 Cor. 6:19-20).

Genesis 9:3
"Every moving thing that lives shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things."
Your argument is weak

I like to bolster my opinions with thousand-year-old fictional book quotes too!

I ignored it all day yesterday. Then saw that it skyrocketed by some 200 posts after my last check. Holy hell.

Saying, "What I am not is what makes me interesting" is the same as saying "I am nothing like any of you, therefore I am cool" Then you add this revelation to his constant: "so why is it I can't find friends?"

boo-fucking-hoo.

here's a hint, dude: You can't find friends because you don't like other people, and it seems that you have a habit of making your opinions known to others. When you openly profess that you share no common interests, I don't see how you can legitimately complain.

so you're equating religion as the only source of morals, which is ridiculously fallacious.

fail at morals, foo.

Your argument is no good.

Never tried it but only because I'm not a fan of smoking. Yeah, I know there's other delivery methods (brownies?) but never had the occasion handed to me and never pursued it. IMO it should be legal though.

Nope, I have found good enough reasons. It wasn't anti-drug programs, because I was never really taught any of that stuff. I came to the decisions on my own. I rather not drink because of relaxed inhibitions. I rather not smoke marijuana because it is smoking. I talked my high school teachers and they honestly would tell us everything they had done. All of my teachers would give you an answer to almost any question.

So, for the most part, my teachers were open doors.

I find your reasoning interesting.

What makes me interesting is what I am not, and not what I am.
And these things do not make you interesting; they make you annoying and whiny. Things that make a person interesting are what differentiates them from others, and how they express themselves. You seem to just sit around whining about how your new house sucks, you have no friends, and you're going to a community college.

And nobody wants to hear you rant about how you're better than others because you don't like to drink/smoke (Even though you've never tried it). And you talk about "lowered inhibitions" like it's a bad thing. In moderation, alcohol lubricates social interaction - people become more open, less nervous, and are generally more likable after a few drinks.

In short, you sound like an old man and you're only 18.
