Who else is taking finals?

I just finished my final for undergrad Linear Algebra.

I think I'll have an A in the class, but no way would I want to delve any deeper into the theories behind it all.

Now I'm off to my last final, PC Architecture.

I've read most of Anandtech's articles for about the last 10 years, so I already knew most of that going into the class.

I personally feel there's a difference between knowing what an article says at face value (aka, accepting things you don't fully understand) vs intimate understanding of all the underlying details. I don't think anandtech articles ever delve that deep into the underlying details. I'd be surprised if reading the articles actually helped you significantly (aside from familiarity with key words, which can lead to quick acceptance).

The main help was that the familiarity with the basic terms and concepts made it very easy to pick up the material, which then allowed me to ask better questions in class.

But, I also read the textbook cover to cover, and I don't skip classes. ^_^

I finished my last final last Friday; four finals and a take home group marketing case.

Working on my MBA after nearly tens of working experience. The last time I took a final was in 2000; I really enjoy going back to school but this entire final thing sucks.

I came from a small town that had the only K-12 school in the entire county. No midterms, finals, and I never studied. Got to college and wondered what the hell all this test stuff was about! Freshmen year was rough!

Oh yeah, I guess that would do it. Like I said, no finals in HS for me. Pretty much no anything. Show up, graduate, go to college and get your mind wrecked.

oh man so glad I'm DONE DONE AND DONE! Will make 2 years now, or is it 3? I lost count. Oh how I dreaded school, especially tests, and finals. The best part of finals was when they were done and the grades are handed in.

I took my accounting final last week and it was a trivial matter.
My spanish and math finals are tomorrow and they are far from trivial. But I am already doing well at math and spanish is an audit for me this semester. So really I shouldnt stress.

Ya, the class wasn't too hard, but I can see how it could get very hard when you get past just scratching the surface (which was what we did).

I'm in the middle of my finals. I had French yesterday and will take poli sci tomorrow and Shakespeare on Thursday. All of my research for my thesis is due on Friday as well.

Got my grades back... 95% in both classes for my final grade. Whew... And grad school sucks with A, A-, B, B-, etc... I got a 4.0 this semsester!

Ochem tomorrow

Premed / ChemE Ochem, I assume? I remember my Ochem class and lab. It was rough. We had a professor teaching the lab that sometimes would spend the entire time allocated to the lab lecturing. Then, we would have exams on the lab lectures, which were separate from the regular lecture exams (had separate professors for lab and lecture) on different material. Ahh, I hated that class and that lab. But, when he did not lecture through lab, the experiments were fun (except for the lab reports).
