Bobby Heenan (worked security for some in-store appearances he was at. Traveled with him to 3 different Karma stores, he was way cool).
Joan Jett (Ditto on the security work...she was not that attractive up close, but very nice and very masculine)
Ric Ocasek (met him backstage at a concert....very wimpy handshake)
Geddy Lee and Neil Peart (of RUSH) wow...didn't know they were into she-males...lol
Green Day- shared a flight with them...real nice guys

and my most favorite one of all....

Brian Wilson - Met him at his concert in Indy last July 4. Awesome musician, didn't talk much but I got to shake his hand and
tell him how much his music meant to me for all these years....

In high school, I worked at a store in a mall near Fremont, which is where my parents live and where MC Hammer lived before he filed for bankruptcy and sold his mansion to a Taiwanese couple.

Anyways, one day, I closed the store and brought the day's earnings to the Bank depository on the 1st floor. By now, the entire mall was closed, and patrons were scarce.

Imagine my surprise as I closed the depository door, looked to my right, and lo and behold, there stood MC Hammer and 2 thuggish types.

I was with a co-worker. She had to audacity to say Hi, and ask what he was up to.

MC Hammer: Yeah, I'm coming out with some new sh*t!

This was about 4 years ago. And that was my brush with true fame.

Jerry Rice (talked briefly while wife and family shopped), Ronnie Lott(signed autographs in store), Kristi Yamaguchi (customer of mine), Tracy Chapman(browsed dept), Deion Sanders "Prime Time"(literally bumped into him in the mall), Nolan Ryan (saw him in Fine Jewelry dept), Halle Berry(shopping in store. guy helping her didn't know who she was. he just thought she was pretty :| ), Terilyn Joe(my customer, local news anchor), Pam Moore(news anchor shopping), Arnold Palmers wife(customer of mine) there were some others but I can't remember them.

Here's a good one. I dropped out of college and went to Mardi Gras. I ended up squatting on the streets and at houses. I panhandled a little. One night with a couple of friends of mine a lady and two men walked up, she was verrry drunk. She didn't give us any money but she did give me her left over steak and baked potato. It was very good, I was hungry. I recognized her from a book signing I had gone to two years previously. It was Anne Rice.

-David Coulthard: Montreal Grand Prix 1998. Talked to him for a quick second and got his autograph.
-Eddie Jordan: A quick handshake and hi at the same GP.
-Mario Andretti: 1997 Toronto Molson Indy, had Pennzoil and Toyota full pass tickets.
-Greg Moore (we miss you Greg! ): Same race, got his autograph and handshake.
-Paul Tracy: Same race, autograph, handshake and cracked a joke.
-Arie Luyendyk's father: His name has is somewhere in my head, but I cannot recall right now. I talked to him for almost an hour while I was at the Zolder race track in Belgium. I was taking some pictures of the car (of the team that I was staying with) and he happened to be watching there two, he was on a cool little foldable bike. He used to race and is a racing transmission god. A VERY nice man.
-Jacques Villeneuve: Well sort of, I jumped in front of his Crown Vic to get his signature. But, he just smiled and drove around me. '97 Montreal GP.
-All the instructors at Jim Russell racing school -- when I attended.
-Up and coming champions from Formula Ford 1600, USF2000, and quite a few drivers in Holland and Belgium.
-And probably a dozen more at the Molson Indy Toronto, Mosport, Trois Rivers (in Quebec), Montreal GP, Tremblant, etc.

My hero is Chuck Yeager and I got to meet him at a dinner where he was the keynote speaker. Still one of my all time favorite days.

I just love the opening of the new Star Trek "Enterprise" to see the victory roll in Glennis is just soooooo Cool!!!

John Lennon: bumped into him outside his NYC apartment.

Jimmy Page: smoked a joint (roach, or whatever it's called now-a-days) together before a concert

Jimmy Hendrix: got his autograph (only because no one was around him at the time) and was able to talk with him a few minutes. Sure would be nice to still have this autograph

Mick Jagger: had one dance with him at a bar

Sting and Tina Turner: Talk to each one a few minutes.

In New Hampshire I shook hands with: John F. Kennedy, Nixon, Clinton (Mr. & Mrs.), Gore, Bush Sr. and Jr., Dole (Mr. & Mrs.)
