Went to the Lewis fight in vegas a few weeks ago. Damn, a fight's the place to be to meet celebs.
We actually met Tom Arnold, Penny Marshall, Reggie Jackson, Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray), Tone Loc, and JaRule. The celebs all come in the same entrance as the "regular" folk. None had bodyguards. JaRule was the coolest, just a regular dude, very willing to chat with everyone and pose for pix.

Also floating around were Arnold, Meg Ryan, Tara Reid (sorry I missed her!!), Wayans Brothers, and many more.

Also saw Suge Knight at the Vegas Airport.

heres a funny story...

when i was 10 i was a at a mall here in lexington and sat down with my big Jumbo pop. i didn't realize it at the time but i sat down next to Jamal Mashburn. kentucky's star basketball player at the time. i ended up droping this 40 ounce pop on his feet!!! He cursed and went away, later i was told who it was.

this may not sound like a famus guy, but in kentucky the b ballers are famous. Mashburn now starts for the charlotte Hornets.

Marion Butts former NFL Running back - At the gym The guy was huge.

Hank Bauer (former chargers player and current sportscaster for channel 8 in SD) - spotte dhim a few times in the gym and he had to mow the lawn of our HIGH SCHOOL because he made a bet about free throws. He lost and had to mow Poway Highs lawn.

I went to school with tom delong (lead sinder of blink 182) - knew in passing didn't really like him.

Met TOAD the wet sproket at iguana's in TJ still have the drum sticks from the drummer!

Got donations from tony gwynn's and Fred McGriff's wives for a band fund raiser.

Met Tony Gwynn at blockbuter - my mom had no idea who he was.

Met Peter Scolari (Nehart and bussom buddies) at a piano bar in Houston TX, at the hotel we stayed at on a band trip.

Met Kevin Mitchel (former NL MVP) at a batting cage in san diego. (family fun center) he was pretty nice.

Wife met a bunch of people when she was a ticket agent at the airport!
