Nope. I only had it back for a month with the New Engine, before I killed the tranny for the 3rd time. The Tranny cooler was inadequate.

Were they recommended, or did you know someone? Why not local?

You can't drive a big real wheel drive car in the snow? Sheesh, it's not as hard as everybody makes it out to be. The two cars I've owned were literally given to me by my grandfather, great cars to learn to drive on and learn to take care of, old luxury battle cruisers. A '85 crown vic and an '81 caddilac fleetwood. Not fast cars, but reliable, easy to fix myself and free while I was in high school.

I'm currently in college and I'm going to wait till I get out so I can by myself a nice car, I would never want to drive around something that mommy and daddy bought me. I'll drive my land yacht before I take something like that, thank you very much. I want my first fast car to be just that, MINE. Something I paid for myself, and modded myself. There's no point in being proud of something that was just handed to you, and you take it to a shop to have everything done on it.

Oh, and BC, I'm personally surprised you're still here. I don't know if it's true, but you come across as a teenager that's got either mommy and daddy paying for the car (I would think the mustang would be yours and the G35 is one of your parent's). And anyways, even with a supercharger I'm thinking that Z06 driver must have spun his tires if you beat him.

With that, flame on. I don't care what you think, you're a nobody.

Oh, and that wasn't to copy you, that was to mock you. If you continue your current attitude you're not long for this board.

They are the best at Modular Motors, but they also have a shop in Alabama. At the time I had the Alabama shop do some work. I was less than enthused so I had the main shop in Canada start doing the rest.

See Sig. I don't consider my car all that fast. It does 0-60 in less than 5 seconds and 13.2 in 1/4 mile. 310 RWHP and 320 RWTQ.

I can't wait to do H/C swap.

No, I can drive a RWD in the snow. I live in Minnesota and spent the better part of two years driving a 1974 Dodge Monaco. Which is a 4,600lb land beast. It had the 440cid cop motor in it, which was cool. Thing was a mess when I got it and stayed that way. Tranny gave out last year so its parked right now. After I got a good job I moved on, but someday I will be back for that 440.

Jason

And you're right RWD in the snow isn't that bad.

I am curious tho, tread started fine, McBaine responded. Why the immediate drop to attacking everyone posting?

Bill
because he has a tiny wee wee.

Basically, you suck my big wee wee, OT troll.

BC
You're just a little twerp with a keyboard and small wee wee with delussions of grandeur.

Tell us the truth now. You are really (pick one):

A. a mid 20's mama's boy spending daddy's money like it was yours

or

B. a 16 year old punk who doesn't even have a license and just makes stuff up looking to be the next big b!tch, oops I meant troll.

I vote for B

Maybe we should put it to a popular vote.

You just have to know how to keep your sh|t together. Driving in it 5 months a year helps edumacate you, as well.

2 things:

First of all, even though I'm no Ford fan, the modular motors have PLENTY of potential. A very good and long-time friend of mine has a Mustang drag car that is running a turbocharged 5.4 that has over 1200 hp at the rear wheels. Yes, I said at the rear wheels.
Needless to say, it's hard to hook up on 10" slicks.

Second, it doesn't see the street much, but I own everything in this thread so far.
427 big block, 440 cubic inches (.072" over), 14-1 custom JE pistons, heavily massaged rectangle port heads, Comp Cams .714" roller, 1050 BG carb.
Best 1/8 mile, 6.96@98mph. About 4050 lbs w/me in it. Est. HP is 640.
For people who don't know, a 7.00 in the 1/8=10.90 in the 1/4.

Very nice truck. When I get the motor done on my Cuda I'd love to give you a run at the track. But you'd rip me right now, but my 383 is basically stock. Still its great to see races between big blocks.
