Bah! There is nothing wrong with the screen or the glare. Either get a light for it, or play near a desk lamp or a window. The GBA is awesome! The graphics are really impressive for a handheld system, better than Super Nintendo.

GBA rocks, too bad for the glare and the darkness... yes, it IS a problem, specially if you want to use it for travelling, when light isnt constant.
even the wormlights dont take care of the problem all that much. but i really like the games I have:

Castlevania, Mario Kart, and Mario Advance

Golden Sun, Advance Wars, and Mario Kart are definately worth buying.

As far as the lighting goes, I bought a Pelican Lightshield and modded it with a white LED. It works really well in a completely dark environment.

Also if you didn't know, the GBA will soon be able to connect to the Gamecube and be used as an extra controller, screen, etc. There is also a Bluetooth device coming out for it. Cool stuff.

i got one, i have one game for it, and its Tekken Advance. i play that game almost 24/7 (ive only had it for couple weeks!) but DAMN I LOVE THAT GAME!!!

I have one and it's great except when the light is bad. No, most of the lights do not help enough though portablemonopolys backlight mod might help when it's finished.

I've got one and I love it. Light needs to be good, or buy a worm light for it.

i have a GBA...its cool. its like a handheld n64. i got 2 games in HK (sf2 revival & mario kart) for like $20 each .only thing i get pissed at is the lcd is not backlit :disgust:

I have a GBA and by far the game that I've played most is Castlevania. The second most-played game is Chu Chu Rocket (VERY addicting).

You should wait until Nintendo makes a backlit GBA or until the Portable Monopoly guy finishes his kit.

You should also get a flashable cartridge. That way you can put any game that you want on the cartridge.

I bought one, and a bunch of games for my sons 8th bday. He had it a week then he accidently stepped on it. Cost to much to fix it, and I cant afford to get him a new one, feel like sh!t. But I did try it out before it broke...seemed cool
