Who has GeForce2 or Radeon with ASUS A7V motherboard???

Hello. Who has either GeForce2 or Radeon with the ASUS A7V mainboard? Any problems? How is your stability? Any tips you can share?

And please, no "Get this card, or get that card". I'm not choosing cards, because my brother is giving me one for my birthday on Saturday, but he won't tell me which one yet, but I know it's one of those two. Either way, I will be happy, I know that.

I just bought the ASUS A7V, and T-Bird, and I'm just trying to get prepared to build my new system.

Please share any experiences or tips you have with either of those 2 cards and the ASUS A7V.

Also any tips for that motherboard in general if you have any.

Oh, and I have the ASUS A7V with the dip switches if it matters.

I have the Asus A7V and an Asus 7100 GF2 MX card. I have had only minor problems so far and I don't think they are major ones & I might straighten them out eventually.

I haven't had luck with the ATA-100 controller so I have it set up on the ATA-66 one and it works fine. System sometimes hangs when the screensaver runs for a long time, but that's been the only lockups I have had. I have an ancient 14" monitor I am using and I am not sure if part of it isn't that as it isn't really Energy Star compliant.

Far as the actual video card goes, it has worked perfectly well. I haven't really pushed it too much but I have been playing Unreal Tournament and have enjoyed it. I went from 12 fps on my Pentium 2/Riva 128 system to about 70fps...AND I LOVE IT! I have noticed a few strange effects on textures under certain resolutions but have been narrowing it down to what I like best. I bought this card hoping that an Asus card would best work with an Asus board.

Best tip I can give is this: put the cards in one at a time and install their drivers. This was my first system (and I had a friend helping) but we just put the video card in first, got it going, then the sound card, then I added the modem last. I have heard a lot of people having trouble with this board and Creative Labs sound cards but mine has worked fine..only an occasional crackle.
