Born in Nanaimo, Britich Columbia.
I now live in Victoria, BC.
In the next 6 months I plan to move to Calgary, AB.
I plan on moving to Calgary... As soon as I find a job there.
Preferably tomorrow.. Calgary owns!
Yeah I really liked living in Calgary.
I worked Sept 2000 - Aug 2001 on Co-op.
I graduate (Computer Science) next April, and plan to move back to Calgary after that to find work.
It was a great city. A little cold at times, but not really bad, the kind of cold that's easy to dress for.
Lots of fun stuff to do there, decent job market, and low taxes

Have you check with IBM?
IBM main office is on Douglast st. (copper windows building next to The Bay) Jim McBride is the West Coast regional manager there & he is also a UVIC prof (not too sure if he still is a prof). My brother is also work at IBM as a senior consultant/programmer. It is tough to break into the market at the moment because of the provincial government cut back, but I?m sure knowing the names above will help fast forward your resume.
Good luck!
bah, Uxbridge ... try moving past North Bay and then tell me you're not coldOriginally posted by: reynoborn64
