I'm in for a 6600 as soon as it comes out. Apparently, people got on the deal this morning

w00t, AMD. Im going AMD as well but not because of conroes terrible availability. I just decided i wanted an upgrade path and i looked at AMDs track record VS Intels and i decided that based on the past AMD is the safest for Upgradability.

I'd like a Conroe, but between the availability, the lack of nf590 mobos, and the fact that AM2 is forward combatible with AM3, I'm real close to just going with AMD.

As i said before, AM3 being available on AM2 is the main reason im going AM2 right now

My ZZF order of one E6300 says "packed." I'm thinking it will ship tomorrow. OK, hoping.
