that's what I thought.

I'd like to see just a plain Mac... and not iMac. I had to settle for an iMac but want the case of the mac pro.. w/o the cost of freakin xeon's and a server motherboard essentially. mac mini just doesn't cut it.

If that magically comes out though, my credit card is going to HATE me.

the Apple phone is big because currently no cell phone mp3 player is really good at playing mp3's. nothing has the ipod's simple interface. The hype is around the possibility of something that is more akin to an ipod rather than a cell phone, both in looks and functionality.

now, whether or not apple can actually pull that off is a different story.

Seriously, if this is thing is just gonna be a stupid MP3 playing phone that everyone already has, why bother? I hope Apple falls flat on their face with this.
