Replaced the rear pads and rotors on the '98 Accord yesterday, and bled the system as well. They seemed to be in pretty good shape really, but had begun making a strange 'groaning' sound while braking at lower speeds. I checked the service records and it had been 5 years so I decided to start with this easy task first.
I also had a small problem with one of the rotor screws, the head was fairly stripped but I was able to get it out eventually. One of the caliper bolts was a PITA too, it took me about 30 minutes to get out and I was afraid the torque was going to break it.
It was worth it though, the groaning is gone. And I went ahead and got a floor jack and jackstands for the job so that should make future work go a bit easier.
