I replaced both rear window regulators in the CTS-V this morning - pulleys had failed causing cables to go omgwtfbbq all over the place. I also discovered that one of the motors had fubared the output shaft seal, so I'm going to be ordering a new one of those so I can replace that too. It's nice having working windows now, though - no more running outside to make sure they haven't fallen when it rains.

nice...i just changed the oil and replaced the filter in my girlfriend's 2008 Camry LE this past weekend. Next weekend the 94 Supra gets an oil & filter change.

Highlights for the day include giving my CR-Z some fresh oil and tire rotation. I was only down about 1/2 a quart. Not bad for over 8k miles since the last change.

On the to do list is replacing the engine and cabin air filters. It seems ridiculous that the replacement interval on those items is 2 years. WTF?!

Replacing timing cover, oil pan and valve gaskets on a 2002 MPV van. This is the last vehicle that is going to have a V6 engine in my family. The van leaks oil bad, it drips on the exhaust making nice toasty smells.

Troubleshooting flashing O/D light/limp mode E40D transmission in early 90's Ford IDI truck. Hopefully it is a just a simple electrical problem (bad connection or bad FIPL/TPS)

going to remove the exhaust and gut the stock cat on the 3SGTE in the Mk1.5 MR2. I suspect it is plugged and is a reason why I am lacking power once the car warms up.

Last night I put new Porterfield street pads and Centric rotors on the lady's Civic. Rear set only, for now. So far so good.

The Accord got new front rotors, a new alternator (old one was making noise), new front coilover assemblies ('06 V6 MT parts), new front upper control arm assemblies/ball joints, all new front bushings, and a tow hitch/wiring. Next on the list are rear Acura TL coilover assemblies and bushings and an aux ATF cooler. Just rehabing the car after 200K and getting it ready for the next 100,000 miles of road trips.

The S2000 is ready for it's next Bilstein valving revision. Can't wait!

I had to pull and clean my throttle body and MAF Tuesday, had a bad hunting idle and stalling at lights/slowing to turn after I disconnected the battery on Sunday.

Haven't worked on my car today, but just pulled the dash out a week ago. There is nothing left in the interior except: pedals, steering column (w/ignition switch), and wiring. EVERYTHING else is GONE.

FWIW: It should be getting painted this weekend. So, the entire re-assembly process should start (relatively) soon.

That reminds me, I have one to fix as well. What was the problem with yours?

Bad solder joints and it fell into the dash. It used to work if you tap on it, so I did, and one day I tapped to hard and it fell back into the dash. I just had to remove the panel, pull out the clock, apply heat, and reseat it. Didn't take long.
