who is your favorite top gear america host?

mine is definitely rutledge wood, because his name is rutledge, which is awesome. and he drove the challenger in the muscle car episode, which is pretty badass.

sometimes it feels like the chemistry is being forced, instead of flowing freely. but they don't have 15+ seasons behind them already either, so i expect it to mature as they go on.

Exactly. I work in the business of film/video/animation production and I know it's no easy feat to create a great show. I couldn't really stand to watch a lot of the early Top Gear UK eps either.

i enjoy both shows, but sometimes i just can't stand jeremy's teeth.

Rutledge is probably the worst of all of them. Such a retarded doofus. He doesn't even play the charming geek well, and trying to play a charming geek hillbilly is just beyond stupid. He's nothing more than an unoriginal dime a dozen ironic hipster.

The comedian guy is not funny.

Tanner knows how to drive. So he's the only one on the show that has even one redeeming quality.

The show really is dreadful.

I like Tanner Foust, because he's the only one who can actually drive a sports car correctly.

I also think that he's The Stig for the US show, but that's another issue entirely.

i have actually watched this show 2-3 times when there were no good pawn stars re-runs to watch, it was mildly entertaining to me, a non-car person
one of the episodes i watched had the pawn stars , chumlee and rick on it, so that helped. the other had some actress

I like them all because the first episode was filmed in my town. Caused a lot of panic too. As well as all the shots being bullshit. Every scene that shows the driving the course is an entirely different area of town. Great-grandpa's grave is the episode too.

I watched the first three episodes they had and I haven't watched it since. These guys suck. Plus it seemed everything they were doing was already done online the original Top Gear.
