You have obviously never been there before.

If I hadn't been there I wouldn't have developed a specific opinion, duh. As stated above I do shop there, mostly for peanut butter. Watching the folks ahead of me in line leads me to conclude it's mostly a liquor store. The folks ahead of me almost invariably spend more on wine than on food, usually by a wide margin.

I love the poundcake. That's like the only thing I buy there. All my shopping is usually done at Safeway, Ranch 99 and Costco.

dark chocolate covered pretzels, wine, french bread, mochi and their frozen stir fry's are pretty good.

One of the few retail stores that I miss from AZ.

I was a fan of their breads, trail mixes, and seasoned cashews. Good fresh salad mixes too.

oh thanks vi, I love their spring and spinach salad mixes.

I am also currently eating one of their hashbrowns, they are very good! I made a run yesterday, I am going to try their chicken eggrolls.

I live about a two minute walk from the one in cambridge, ma. my faves are

I love trader joes to bad the closest one to me is 3 hours away in STL....
I always hit it up when I'm there and basically pack up a cooler full of delicious goodies and basically get a sampling of soups etc.....

There are kind of "Organic" type oriented grocery stores but you can't beat the prices at trader joes and you can always find somelthing new and interesting (to me anyway).....
like dried mangosteen for example...

There aren't any Trader Joes in Texas that i know of but i did see my first one when i was in California a few days ago.

The two things i had there were Cajun turkey and hot pepper cheese made from yogurt. They were good but no different then what i used to buy in high school at HEB.
