plextor! but look for a rebadged one... i think tdk's and iomegas are plextors in disguise. it's much cheaper.

generally, any 12/10/32 cdrw with burnproof is a rebadged plextor 12x.

Really depends on what you are looking to do. If you are looking to copy music Plextors rock, If you are looking to copy Games Phillips seems to have the best for SD2, Copy protection. I have a 12X Iomega, Sanyo Rebadge, And it is fast and have had only a few coasters!

The Plextor's are definitely the highest quality CDRW. However, usually they're the most expensive. I have a 8/4/32 but I'm looking towards upgrading to a non-Plextor 12/10/32 w/burnproof.

Didn't the man ask who makes the best blank disks????

If so, I'd have to say TDK.

TDK is the best value for blue-dye disks.

I hear excelent things about Kodak, Taiyo Yuden, and Mitsui.

Thanks,

Have used about 8 different brands of CD's. TDK's Rock - never had one fail yet in about 60 burns.

I would really recommend against getting a Philips CDR. I had one once a couple years, and it went bad, and I had to call tech support in Germany and even then they didn't fix it, I sent it in and never got any information about it and finally I just gave up trying to get it fixed. I've had a Memorex, Yamaha, and Plextor. The Memorex was pretty bad, it went out after a year, and the Yamaha, although reliable at first, started to be not so reliable after a while. I have had no problems with my plextor, though, and I've had it for many months now, I almost never burn a coaster. And TDK's are very good cds, cheap, too. I saw them at Price Club for $15 after MIR for 100-pack, although they were free at CompUSA for a while. I've heard that the ones from Taiwan are worse though, TDK's apparently using worse factories these days.
