Who makes the best Power Supply?

i was under the impression that PC Power & Cooling has the best power supplys but i want to hear it from everyone ...

PcPowerAnd Coolings are good, cause they are rebadged FortronSource(and now Sparkle) Power Supplies that are resold with the PCPower And Cooling brand name at a hefty price increase.

If You are Considering a Turbo-Cool 300W, also consider a FortronSource/Sparkle 300W for much less. Russ has opened and compared both, adn they are exactly the same unit. Save one difference, the PcPowerCooling one costs significantly more.

I'm sorry, but Saying Antec is the best(especially when they're good, but not the best) based on Anand's review is somewhat misinformative. Anand's review is not only 8 months old, it does not review any Enermax Units(which are not only amoung the best, they are much higher quality than Antec's).

Granted, Antec's are excellent values, but that still does not make them the best. IN this fashion, i wish that if Anand were to do Power Supply reviews(and case reviews) that he would review more units nad do so more often. In the same fashion as the antec's are recommended cause htey are "anandtech recommended", so are the fong kai cases(which again, are good, but not the best).

My vote goes for Chrenobyl but if I had to choose a second choice it would be Enermax. You can pick them up @ http://www.computer123.com. They have the best price that I could find and service is good.

If you looking for the quietest powersupply you might wanna go to http://nwccomputers.com their ultra silent powersupply was rated at 26.4 db while pcpowercooling silent powersupply rated at 34db which is rather normal. the cost is about the same.

Another vote for Enermax.

OMG I just saw that site that sells Enermax power supplies, and when I saw 650w I just hit the floor man, that could power two TECs on the CPU, a TEC on the vid card, TECs on your wrist (to cool you down, no need for A/C in the summer ) and still supply clean power to all the other components. Pretty hefty toll to pay though.. dang that is nice. 450w looks like a deal!

Enermax here. I've got the 450w model with dual fans. I didn't notice a volume increase at all after swapping out the NSpire that came in my Enlight case. In fact, I think the noise decreased...
