Things change over the years.
Lian Li used to make high quality cases many years ago. Now, the ones I have worked on lately have soft steel, and thin metal.
I unscrewed a drive cage on one and got metal shavings in my thumb. One had fit problems in the PCI-E slot.

I think one of the problems is the heavy use of thick powder coatings that clog screw holes and cause alignment problems of the screws

Corsair is OK, lots of plastic, but fit is usually OK
Cooler Master, kinda like Corsair

InWin is one of my top picks for fit and decent quality. But, their cases are usually form over function
I think they make them in Taiwan. Seems to me higher quality goods come from Taiwan versus Red China

What say you?

Hi, this is a message for geezerman. I don't know if you can contact specific posters privately but I have not found any way to do so and no help section. I am wondering if you can tell me how the power button on the antec 150 is connected--by glue or ?? Is there a way you could post a picture? I have the case and like it. However in putting in a new build, the power button dislodged and I don't know how to put it back again. Antec, understandably, does not have any replacement front panels. Thanks!

just take the front panel off and you will see how the cosmetic portion of the power button is attached. You can usually epoxy it back on.
My P150 is back in storage after I sold the guts

The last 5 machines I have built have all been with Thermaltake matx and mitx cases. Reasonable price, good features, and quality.

Thank you so very, very much, GeezerMan! I can see where it is attached but cannot figure out a way to attach it. I have looked at it and tried all sorts of ways to wedge it and use the parts that are there in some logical way. I think I must be missing a part. Otherwise, it was glued in the first place. Too bad your case is in retirement, lol. Thanks for your time, Yasmine

Do you guys think they have something here or just marketing hype?

Interesting New Case Design
Just really a "kewl!!!" case.

As long as people don't buy cases that are completely closed off, the front fans would simply increase RPMs to counter the heat when needed (plugged into motherboard PWM header).

That said, it looks cool, but those motors could be noisy and add a point of failure to cases (which normally don't have any outside of a user knocking it over or dropping it).

Looks cool, but those vents would break. You want a quiet case? Replace stock fans with Noctuas and put the case under your desk.

I'd rather have it open and change my fan speed. Looking at the video, it appears fans don't change speed. I'd hate to have the vents break and stuck on closed.

What would happen if you got the 2nd best instead of best quality computer case?

I've reused some pretty ancient cases. Those that weigh a lot, I've put casters on. Those that have poor ventilation, I've cut more fan holes in. The great thing about the old ones is they aren't built like swiss cheese so with thick, solid panels, you can cut/put fans anywhere you want to, with no structural integrity concerns.

On the other hand, the very old ATX, the rear panel dimensions weren't enough for 120mm so had to settle for 1 or 2X, 92mm fans.

The Cyberpower, I just don't understand the need vs burden vs expense. Seems a lot like marketing trying to trick people, but if you like the looks then it's your hobby and money to spend. It just baffles me that there are new solutions to things that haven't been a problem in a long time, reinvent the wheel at higher cost/complexity.
