Me. Leave the skin on new potatoes, quarter them (or more pieces if they're big), drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with herbs, sea salt, and roasted garlic (I have a grinder from Costco that has sea salt and dehydrated roasted garlic that I usually use), bake in hot oven. Mmmmm.

Surprised to see anyone vote for something like McDonald's fries. Even my grandfather used to make fresh french fries with a deep fryer that tasted worlds better than McDonald's. McDonald's fries don't even have any substance, you are barely eating potato.

Chain, Jack in the Box. Restaurant, Park Chow on ninth between irving and lincoln in SF. They got the shoe string type fries that's crispy and yummy. Comes w/ the burger, which is 2 triangle french bread w/ a slab of beef in the middle.

Potato Patch fries at Kennywood (fellow Pittsburghers will know what I'm talking about) .. fresh cut fries made to order.

Primanti's fries on a black angus sandwich .. amazing.

I've heard that the fries at The O are great, but I've never been there.

Hell yes. That and McD. McDs fries have less potato obviously and its more fried goodies than anything, so you're tasting fried goodness and not potatoes, but apparently I like it and many people do too, so hooray for junk food!

Edit: Who could forget Garlic Fries by Gordon Biersch? They serve these at AT&T Park and they're amazing. Well the restaurant is amazing too.
