I have a Ti 4600 that needs an RMA, but I do not know who made the card. I have tried to identify the card with some of the numbers that are located on the card, but have come up with nothing.

If it would help in posting a pic or 2 of the card I will, just need to know how if it is possible.

It has active cooling w/ the nVIDIA GeForce cooling fan on it.
Also in the front there is a sticker bar code w/: DS/N TW-04N458-69860-268-1334 C/O TW
In the front (R) hand side of the board there is a symbol "nVIDIA" with numbers under it
180-10083-0000-A02

There are some numbers on the bracket: 151-10000-0008-000

In the back of the card there is a sticker w/: Rev A03

Some thing ells that might help. On the back of the card there are these numbers placed in an odd area:
GX B-VOA 0218
94V-O
Now the letter "O" might be the number "0" I can not tell

Any help that any one might be able to provide will be grateful. Thank you for your time in this matter.

As you know, the Visiontek reference is the only one that shows up in a search. What kind of RMA do you need for it? Is it totally DOA? Can you install it in Windows and get it to run at all? The reason I ask is that if you can get it to run at all, you might want to try something like Aida32 (free system info utility) to provide info on the card from the card's bios. Even putting it in a pc and possibly getting to the pc's post should show you the video bios info. That's often enough to shed light on who built it. The video bios should be the first thing you see when looking at monitor output during the posting process. See if you can at least get it to reveal that, if you can't boot to Windows.

I have a VisionTek Ti4600 (haven't looked at numbers on it), but what I have noticed is that the fans are notoriously bad on these. Can you install it and see if the fan is working? It might be that simple of a problem to repair.

Slikkster good idea, i have not thought of that yet. As far as booting it up into windows it is a hit and miss thing. Some times it will only post, or I should say most of the time it will only post, and only some times will it get into windows. The problem is when it gets into windows there is all of these yellow lines that run up and down the screen. About 15-20 of them. VisionTek said that?s a good sign that the memory is going bad, and even possibly the GPU is bad.

The main thing I want to do is just send it in for an RMA.

As far as CHAINTECH goes I have been to the web sight many times, but that will not stop me. I will go back and spend more time there, since it is hard to find any thing on Ti?s since most producers do not make them any more and all the web sights have them located under discontinued products with lil info in them.

Thank you for all the Help guys, keep the INFO comming

Tried to download the Aida32 program form 6 diff web sights and every time i clicked on the link to download the program it gave me a blank web page.

Any one know of a good web sight that i might be able to get this program and or of a program that might do the same in identifying who the Ti4600 was made by.

Having worked at Dell, I can tell you the answer is no. It is practically impossible to set up any kind of RMA without a service tag. There are some tricks that might work though.

i had to find out my self that it is practically impossible. ass soon as you said that it might be made or is made by dell i went to there web sight and tried to find out some info with no luck. So i called them and all they wanted was a service tag and some type of other service or purchase number.

if you don't mind what kind of tricks might that be?
