I certainly hope that I remember Mplayer.com, considering that I used to work there.

You might have seen my "DeadlyDAN" account floating around the various game forums while I was doing QA testing. I had to test every single one to make sure that it worked with our software. It wasn't as fun as it sounds, trust me. We had a LOT of games on that service, and many of the lesser known titles sucked.

I quickly learned to use a different account most of the time, though, since people would always PM me for free Plus accounts

I also helped run their beta test team. It was a sweet gig, since you got free t-shirts and a copy of all of the new retail games a few weeks before they went live on the service.

Never used it.
Heat.Net however, brings many memories...Netfighter(yum!!!), Plane Crazy, Vigilance,

Little known fact... Heat.net used Mplayer's software. They just changed all the artwork and logos to a different color scheme.

The Zone was also a great place to play the ORIGINAL MW3, as in Mechwarrior 3. Multiplayer games were lots of fun. You had about 8 to 10 mechs playing on teams in a battle to the death or free for all.

I played the hell out of both MW3 and MechCommander on mplayer

Ten Network for Total Annihilation......

I also played Duke Nukem death matches on TEN. The funny thing was that everyone was on dialup so it was frequently lagging. They solved this by using an "alien face system". If your connection was poor you got a dark grey alien face. If it was good you got yellow. If it was great you got a green face and a special sound effect.

Ah the good ole days....

Ah... good 'ol "Mr. Bandwidth". Damn, I hated that guy back when I was on a 28.8 dial-up connection.

Mplayer is where I use to play Rainbow Six. Had a lot of good times on that service.

Used to play Descent, C&C, Warcraft 2, NetMech, etc over Kali. Trying to get PPP to work over dialup in DOS was no trivial matter, lol.

I vaguely remember Mplayer, it had like a red colored interface and chat rooms and voice com too I think. I never used TEN or WON because they cost monthly subscription. I can't remember what games I was playing over Mplayer though.

After the net started getting hot and you didn't need kali anymore, mplayer and the zone made online multiplayer gaming really fun. A shame that those services were taken down.
