I can understand the French, Candian, German, Russia, etc. position... Not that I agree with them, but I can understand the reasons why the act the way they do.

But China REALLY needs to shut up.
China: Stop the war 'immediately'

They have absolutely no legitimacy to talk about violating U.N. law as they have continuously and blatantly ignored the issue of human rights and in no way have been they ever been an example of a cooperating member of international society.

Furthermore, here they claim the U.S. is "ignoring the desire for peace among nations and peoples of the world" when they have essentially created the dilemna in North Korea and the reason for it's continual existence. Grrrr. :|

How exactly did China do this?

And as for 'blatantly ignored the issue of human rights'... what exactly are these? Holding political dissidents in prison? Executing them? To China, a single person can disrupt society more than a murderer... so to them, it's even more moral to deal with them harshly. You know often the same people that are accusing China of issues of human rights (such as Amnesty International) also accuses the US of death sentences right?

I think YOU ought to shut up. :|

Sure as long as you can prove where I am wrong in my assesment of what China has done.

Fact #1 - Human Rights Violations

Fact #2 - An Example of China's relationship w/ North Korea

I don't care. What gives YOU the right to tell my country to shut up?

I never said I had the ability or the right to tell your country to shut up.

However, what I did say is "I think China needs to shut up" and I have given my reasoning for thinking so. Here in the U.S. I can do so w/o worrying about the Government coming to get me... although maybe not much so anymore w/ the Pariot Act.

Hmm all this has nothing to do with the fact that Taiwan was giving several gunships and weapons from US to fend off Chinese commmunism whiel Clinton was still prez. China was thew agressor back then, it stood down (though Taiwan would be a good addition to China) That's up to Taiwanese citizens entirely however.

Every country has an opinion on what the US is doing.. (good or bad)
But the Chinese want to stop the Iraqis from being liberated? umm... seems they like people to suffer unneccesarily..

I guess that would be the first amendment to the US Constitution.

Doesn't YOUR country give its citizens a similar right?

And that second link still didn't validate this statement. You said China created the dilemna in North Korea. They didn't. The North Koreans would have gone ahead with or without those, they've always had enough to create a handful of nukes, China is helping them along true, but they didn't create the situation. The North Koreans attempted at compensating their feelings of inferiority did it.

Nice link, now follow this:

Amnesty Internation on the USA

Fair enough.

I do admit that the U.S. has violated human rights violations in the past and continue to do so. However, as in the case of Iraq, I don't see how you can prevent loss of inoocent life in order to liberate the people of a country.

Furthermore, I don't see where the U.S. has ever done something as horrible as blatantly crushing a student under a tank for a political protest.
